What is AI FITNESS MONITORING DEVICE?

AI Fitness Monitoring Device is a compact, user-friendly system that measures heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂), and temperature using reliable sensors and AI-assisted signal processing. It displays clear, real-time readings on an LCD and provides alerts and guidance for quick, at-home health checks.

How it works

The device captures raw signals from onboard sensors, applies filtering and smoothing to reduce noise, and calculates vital metrics like heart rate and SpO₂. A program coded for an Arduino microcontroller handles sampling, processing, and updates the LCD in real time.

How to use the Device

  • Power On

  • Press the power button located at the back of the unit to switch on the device. The LCD screen will display a welcome message followed by a series of introductory slides.

  • Heart Rate & SpO₂ Measurement

  • When the display shows "Place Finger", gently insert your finger or thumb into the right opening of the sensor box. Hold still for a few seconds while the device captures and displays your heart rate and SpO readings.

  • Pulse Measurement

  • When prompted with “Place finger/thumb on the pulse”, insert your finger or thumb into the left opening. Remain steady for a few seconds to allow the pulse value to appear.

  • Temperature Measurement

  • When the screen displays “Hold the temp”, place the steel-colored temperature sensor against your hand or the surface you wish to measure. The device will show the current temperature and real-time variations.

  • Completion and Restart

  • After all measurements are completed, a thank-you message will appear. To run the process again, long-press the power button to turn off the device, then press it once more to restart. Follow the on-screen instructions to repeat the measurement sequence.

🧩 Device Components

  1. Black & Yellow Box: HR, SpO₂ & Pulse
  2. Red & Brown Box: Main Processor
  3. Blue Rectangle: LCD Display
  4. One Wire: Temperature Sensor
  5. RTC (Real Time Clock): Keeps and displays accurate real-time clock information.
  6. Cell Coin: Used to save the time in the RTC even when the device is turned off.
  7. 10,000 mAh Power Bank: Portable power supply with Micro, Type-C, and Type-A ports to power the device. It can be chargable from Type-C and Micro ports. On one full charge the device can work for about for one month approximately upon daily uses.
  8. Arduino Uno Clone (Device Brain): The main microcontroller board controlling sensors and display.
  9. Buzzer:Sounds Smart Beeps.
  10. Jumper Wires:All connections to Arduino and the other components.
  11. Heart Rate and SPO2 Sensor:Detects live readings from the sensor and displays results on the LCD.
  12. Pulse Analog Senor:Measures pulse rate and displays it on the LCD.
